About Loh Wei

I began my mindfulness journey back in 2013 after years of intense stress from running my accounting business while being the main caregiver of my father who had late-stage cancer. 


My journey since then has taught me how to support myself and others emotionally through the practice of mindfulness, by building mental resilience and cultivating self-care.


Since 2015, I have attended over 10 silent meditation retreats. Through these retreats and my daily mindfulness practice, I’ve begun to make peace with my past and glean insights into the workings of my mind. This journey of self-discovery and reflection continues to this day, as I work on being a more mindful person each day.


I am a Qualified Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) Teacher as recognized by the Mindfulness-Based Professional Training Institute at the University of California San Diego (UCSD) Center for Mindfulness.


Other than conducting the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction course, I have conducted mindfulness sessions and courses at charities with a trauma-sensitive approach, at social service organizations for their staff and volunteers to build stress resiliance, and at residential network to bring general health and wellness to the community. 


I believe in helping others to incorporate mindfulness into every aspect of their lives. My wish is for everyone to discover new pathways to mental clarity and compassion for self and others.
